What technologies would I need to build a website that exports a customizable printable PDF brochure on standard international paper sizes?

RE. Which technology is good for web development? Technology is a difficult word. Technology - Wikipedia The browser that ‘browses’ resources on the web - is a technology. You could say that most things are. Then you get into what is a ‘web technology’ - and you would say that HTML is a web technology… but is a text editor that you use to write computer programs a web technology? Who cares… - not you, I hope! I think that you want to learn to make things on the web. This is the order I would suggest you collect your tools. Paper and pencil nothing is more important than thinking things through. What do you want to share with the world? Why? Maybe you just want to help others share things - in exchange for money. What type of things interest you? Why? Collect some examples. A computer You’re going to need the tool of the trade. A web browser You’ll need access to the web, and also - to view what you create on your computer locally (not on the true web). The internet. Get an understanding for how browsers request files - and how those files are read and interpreted and how the browser than builds out that representation. It’s not magic. A text editor This can be the one that comes for free on your computer - or a fancier one with fun syntax colorations HTML Hopefully, you’ve created some basic ideas to learn with - (with that pencil…) - if you don’t have any ideas - then you can copy something you like. Your computer/web browser to search for a consistent learning resource. Much of the internet is outdated or incorrect. I suggest. HTML. HyperText Markup Language I also suggest speaking with a human… a friend - or pay a mentor to work with you and save you from bad habits - and keep you on a solid track. (You’ll save a lot of time! - and it’s fun) Use your text editor to write out a proper HTML document - and save it as index.html (on your desktop) Drag it into your browser - and you’ll see your website. Good job! Refresh the browser as you make changes. This is simple… but really important. Too many people start up a ‘insert framework name’ application - and don’t actually know how to write HTML. Take your time. It’s not pretty… but it’s not much worse than Wikipedia or craigslist, is it? Enjoy how it’s naturally responsive to any screen - by default. Love it. CSS Cascading Style Sheets are the standard way of decorating your markup and defining page layout. This is scary. People are afraid of CSS - and t never learn it well - and then t complain about it / and avoid it - and t develop deeper fears / which turn into hate. Don’t do that. Just learn it. It’s really fun. -and it’s not that hard… . ) Use the MDN documents again. CSS. Cascading Style Sheets This is especially a great time to talk to a human. CSS can be really hard - if it isn’t explained in a way that clicks / and gets properly reinforced. Notice how you are using ‘Docs’ - or otherwise / documentation of these languages. It is really important to learn to read documents clearly. If you try and just ‘do it’ fast - and skip things / you’ll be confused later - and it’s not worth it. Community. Go to meetups. Meet people! Web development isn’t often just 1 person. You’ll need to learn tools like version control / talking to people / pair programming / project management tools. You may only be working on the CSS (which I often do) - or you may be only working on the server. Eventually… people specialize in larger organizations. Don’t blindly listen to any of these people though… you should have enough knowledge to sort though the nonsense by now. Listen to many many people. You’ll learn a lot about them - and the type of people you can trust. FORK IN THE ROAD - learn something like PHP (which takes little pieces of PHP code on the server and dynamically takes information from databases and spits out HTML) - when you make a page menu… and many pages… you’ll start to wish that you didn’t have to type the page menu out on each page… and this will start to make sense. You’ll learn a bit about what a ‘server’ is here. learn some JavaScript. Learn how to interact with the DOM a bit and change some things on user input like - click. Learn how to get information from a server and display it on a page. Once you are here… you will know A LOT more about things… and the tasks you attempt will start showing you what you need to learn next. You may want to try building a WordPress theme (PHP which will show you both a front end and a back end) You can use PHP for the dynamic content - and also play with some JavaScript for user interaction like menus and forms. You may want to build a ‘client’ that displays data from a server or API - Or maybe you like the server side of things and you want to make an API. When you’re ready… Think about trying. Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Ember.js, Vue.js, or Laravel. Learn what their purposes are. See if t are helpful to you. Good luck!

Export PDF: All You Need to Know

Use a free application such as Magento Connector to make this process a lot easier in most cases. There are different ways in doing it. However, to make the process simpler, I would suggest using a full stack application, instead of using Magento Connector.
